Shimano Low Viscosity Mineral Oil is a specialized hydraulic oil with very low viscosity, developed for XTR M9200 and M9220 disc brakes from model year 2025 onwards. It ensures maximum braking performance across the entire temperature range, enabling safe and reliable braking during long descents and eliminating contact point instability. Thanks to its low viscosity, the response of individual system components is faster and more direct, resulting in better brake feel and greater control.Unlike standard Shimano mineral oil, this version has a lower viscosity and should not be used in other disc brake models it is dedicated exclusively to XTR M9200 / M9220 series hydraulic systems from MY2025.
