DEEP RANGE – Racers and their drivers are faster and more efficient than ever before. But the translation of our cars has not kept pace with this change. It has been limited by tradition. With the sole aim of improving the modern riding experience on the road, Sram has completely redesigned the road bike ratio. The new Deep Range technology. Not only does it offer more translation bandwidth, but this bandwidth is also better. It has “depth“: A smoother, more useful gear graduation. Intelligent shift settings, made possible by AXS, bring the simplicity of a 1-speed drive to 2 speeds. So you always have the right gear and the translation is not in your way. Drive faster, more efficiently and more comfortably with Deep Range technology.

FLATTOP – To be able to offer deep range technology, Sram had to develop a narrower chain. The unique joint shape of the Flattop technology not only enabled the this narrower chain, but also resulted in a quieter operation, increased strength and longevity.

POWERLOCK – SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool free, sure, and consistent way to connect our chains. While PowerLock does not require special tools for install, the especially tight tolerances of 10-, 11- and 12-speed drivetrains mandate that each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.

HOLLOWPIN – Sram employ HollowPin construction on all SRAM top of the line PowerChains. HP yields plate retention strength, front and rear shifting efficiency, and low weight benchmarks unreachable in solid pin chain applications.
